Specifically for this role I have a Masters in Psychoanalysis awarded with Distinction and a Teachers Certificate awarded with Distinction by British Universities. Additionally I have studied at four further British Universities in Christian Theology and Comparative Religions; English Literature and Linguistics; Psychology; and the Sociology of Education. I am certificated to teach in the E.U. and the USA. I was affiliated to the Lacanian School of Psychoanalysis and the European Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies. The U.S. credential evaluation service International Education Research Foundation,www.ierf.org has contacted each of my universities and verified my qualifications and transcripts.
I have been in Education, Training and Psychology for a lifetime. I was employed by the State to support families, their disturbed children and their schools, sometimes over the Internet. I have a special interest in Schooling. I have been deployed by both the Social Services and the Probation Service to support mutual clients including with rehabilitation, anger management, marital disputes, family counselling, sexual abuse reparation and by the provision of court reports. I have been a Victim Support Counsellor. I have been a would-be ordinand of the Anglican Communion so I can share a Christian perspective.
I have served in the British Special Forces, 21SAS which I reference only because I am especially concerned about the long term effects of unaddressed combat stress/PTSD upon returning veterans including upon their wife and children who perhaps knowing this might be ecouraged to talk to me. I have been so fortunate to be a father, blessed with its joy and challenges but aware how families can be challenged when a warrior returns.
